Peter Cook, who is to be one of this year’s Stirling prize judges, has been a staunch critic of the way the RIBA selects the jury. Two years ago he complained that the panel, which included Stephen Bates, would be too sympathetic to Tony Fretton’s Fuglsang Kunstmuseum.
