Nordic inspiration – Luv on display at Duravit London

When designing Duravit London there were a number of priorities that had to be taken into consideration. The key was the ability to bring the Duravit brand to life and this has been achieved through exciting and interactive product displays.

It is now possible to specify a complete Duravit bathroom – washbasins, bathtubs, WCs, DuraSystem® frames, furniture, shower trays and space-saving shower enclosures, along with shower and tap fittings can all be specified from Duravit, making life easier for bathroom specifiers.

The spacious showroom is 2,500 sq ft, showcases more than 20 Duravit series and includes working displays of the award-winning C.1 tap fitting series, the new DuraSystem® toilet frames and SensoWash shower toilets. Alongside these are Duravit classics such as Cape Cod by Philippe Starck, and the curvaceous Luv by Cecilie Manz. Other key pieces include: XSquare, Duravit’s new innovative furniture collection, designed by Kurt Merki Jr, and the new Brioso furniture series, by Christian Werner.

Duravit London has been created to act as a professional and creative hub bringing designer bathrooms to life. Designed to act as a focal point for architects, designers and building professionals working on home grown and global projects, it enables them to see the quality of Duravit’s designs in situ and ensure the correct Duravit products are specified for a wide variety of projects.

Consumers are also able to plan and discuss their requirements with a member of Duravit’s dedicated team, who will be on hand to offer practical support, technical advice and specialist knowledge on choosing products for a future bathroom.

Retailer partners and the A & D community alike will be invited to training and CPD seminars. These and other activities will form part of a continuous programme of professional development. The brand’s longevity, experience and designer credentials make the London showroom the ‘go to’ place for bathroom expertise and project support. This is not just for the UK; internationally, Duravit London is ideally situated to continue to collaborate with partners in the development of global projects, such as the Opus Tower in Dubai by Zaha Hadid, Morpheus Macau by Zaha Hadid and Louvre @ Abu Dhabi by Jean Nouvel
