With regard to your article concerning the scrapping of an alliance between NBS and the Aecom specification team (News March 8)

I would like to point out that I was never consulted on, or involved in, any acquisition discussions between the parties and am no longer involved with or part of Davis Langdon Schumann Smith, having resigned and left the firm in April 2012.

I have been made aware of confusion arising from the name and would like to point out that I am now a director and owner of independent specification consultancy business Schumann Consult.
