Future Systems’ Metropolis apartment building is breaking the waves in Copenhagen

At the rear of the building each floor features one long sweeping balcony with bright blue partitions separating each flat. Red-clad plant room huts have been left exposed on the roof.

The undulating blue facade of the practice’s latest design echoes the sea and sky of its Copenhagen harbourside development
