Coming across an impressive building that you have never heard of, with no idea who the architect might be, can be extraordinarily powerful.
I was in San Paulo a few years ago searching out Niemeyer buildings (which never disappoint), when I came across Vilanova Artigas’s Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, which was completed in 1969.
