I visited Chicago in 2015 filled with the anticipation of finally seeing Mies van der Rohe’s timeless giant glass towers, 860-880 Lakeshore Drive Apartments. Located on the border of Lake Michigan, these towers, crafted in glass and steel, are recognised as iconic landmarks of the city.
