Deals bolster presence in Asia and Africa
Aecom has bought Asian cost manager KPK to boost its workloads in the region.
The move will see the 600-strong KPK become part of Aecom’s Davis Langdon arm and increases the number of employees the US firm has in the region to over 8,000.

As well as China and India, KPK works in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
The news comes after Aecom bought an 80% stake in South Africa-based consultant BKS. It has 17 offices in the country as well as outposts in Kenya, Libya and Mozambique.
BKS, which employs 900 people, works on buildings, stadia and transportation as well as the water, mining and energy sectors.
Aecom chief executive John Dionisio said: “BKS is well situated to help us further penetrate the growing commercial and industrial sectors and better service our multinational clients.”
