Zaha Hadid picked to design new Russian neighbourhood

UK architect part of three consortia working on 460ha scheme

Zaha Hadid Architects has been chosen to help design a new neighbourhood near Moscow.

The firm will be working with consortium partners and Russian design firm TPO Pride Architects on the 460ha Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye scheme.

Two further consortia were selected to develop the project: Japan’s Nikken Sekkei and Russia’s UNK Project, plus Italy’s Archea Associati and another Russian firm, ABD Architects.
