Scheme on London’s Whitcomb Street includes office and retail

Work on a luxury residential scheme just off London’s Trafalgar Square has begun.

The £31 million scheme on Whitcomb Street has been designed by US-based Arquitectonica in association with Brisac Gonzalez and includes 20 high-end apartments, 1,100sq m of office space and 650sq m of retail.

The project for The Hobhouse Estate is being delivered by developers Alaska Developments and will also see a new gallery for the Royal Watercolour Society created.

Main contractor Osborne has appointed TP Bennett as its architect on the scheme which includes turning underground vaults into a new art market.
