Venice is hit by a maelstrom — but which architect narrowly avoided death?

The torrential thunderstorm that required the installation of buckets beneath the Corderie roof also caused a large tree to crash to the ground narrowly missing Patrick Lynch, who was throwing a party on Sunday evening to celebrate his installation with Eric Parry and Haworth Tompkins.
