The Bootleg Lilos triumphed at the London Festival of Architecture closing party to win the battle of the bands.
At BD, we believe in your hidden talents, so we're showing the world that architects really do rock.
Who are the new breed of archi-bands to follow in the footsteps of the great British rock acts that have arisen from the world of architecture?
The competition is open to architects, engineers and others working in the industry who see themselves as the next Pink Floyd, Suede, Elastica, Moloko or Pet Shop Boys.
Our four finalists - along with previous winners Hörstreich (listen to their latest song) - will perform in-front of a 700-strong audience at the Bloomsbury Ballroom at our Architecture Rocks party on July 18 to mark the close of the London Festival of Architecture 2008.
Saint Etienne will be DJing at the party
You can now download and listen to samples of this year's finalists' music
Two years ago, we discovered German rockers Horstreicht, eighties synth-pop band Famous in Japan, and the Sex Pistols-inspired Hipshakes. What will this year throw up?![]() |
