BANKRUPT CHARITY ?
Commissions review raises more questions than it answers, and firmly declares they have no contingency funding (reserves) to meet debts incurred. Is the CC propping up the GBT position unduly? Extracts from their report say: "We found that risks are regularly reviewed and assessed and the trustees have plans in place to mitigate those risks - particularly the risk of the project not proceeding. .......The charity’s accounts have now been filed and identify ongoing uncertainty over whether the charity is a going concern......our understanding is that the charity holds no reserves......we would have expected a fuller description ....... the charity was not able to confirm it was a going concern"
