I rarely feel the compulsion to comment on here but i have been moved to do so buy the deep dissapointment that this building makes me feel.

I grew up in Belfast and i couldn't agree more with 'Micky Mouse' above "...Dull, wasted oportunity, waste of scarce resources..."

It is worse than the Hive, worse than the Orbit worse than them all but not just on beauty - primarily because when i think of the £90m odd budget that they had and i think of all the possibilities that could have been - my heart genuinely sinks.

This building saddens me in a negative way and architecture should be enriching our lives, making positive changes. This genuinely stands for everything that architecture should not be.

It has secured my vote - and that of anyone I can persuade similarly.
