It is great to catch a glimpse into one of Richard Murphy's most intimate spaces. Murphy is one of Britain's foremost designers and thus worthy of close examination and a thourough exposé. For all that I am in awe of his immense talents, I am worried that of late, his relationship with Brian's dog may be distracting him from his dialogue with Carlo Scarpa's architectural language, and, furthermore, that his mentor Isi Metzstein's sad death may weaken his critical resolve.
