What a outpouring of negativity…. Obviously the run up to Christmas is too distressing for some. Whilst Mr Hodson may have a point that a project like this does not directly address the issues facing our ‘dysfunctional consumerist society’ it is a criticism that could be leveled most projects published in the BD.
It is the interesting to note that the vast (an genuinely expensive) shard in the background is infinitely more symptomatic of the stated architectural malaise than this temporary moment of uncanny joyfulness in the foreground.
