I think Media City has managed to trump the dubious achievement of the new European Parliament building in Stasbourg for constructing a major new quasi-public building that completely fails to respond to a spectaculare riverside setting.

BTW Tom Pearson. The tram journey from Piccadilly Gardens to Media City is timetabled as 18 minutes - considerably closer to 20 minutes than five by my reckoning.
