This article is completely misleading. A brochure will get you nowhere. What you need to is to be schmoozing all the right people in all the right places. They don't really care about your apps or your brochure. They want to know if they like you, if you can deliver, and how reassuring/inspiring you are as a person. It's person-to-person contacts that matter in this business as in so many others. So skip the brochure and get out there having drinks with the people who matter. Which is more fun anyway.
