A superb building both externally and internally, adept composition of form and space, adroit internal lighting control, slick minimalist detailing, and a sense of occasion conveyed by the whole concept.

The downsides are a coloured and polished concrete shell finish which may not look so good in a few years, and minor shrinkage cracking all over the concrete surface which hopefully the Yorkshire rain and frosts won't spall?

The bridge approach gives good long and close range views combined with a slightly unnerving vibration when visitors walk across it.
