Between Steve Holl and OMA the Far East will be an Uber Modernist paradise in ten years time.

On other words, more soulless expanses of machine made materials perhaps weathering badly or perhaps going on fire, unlikely to relate to human scale or to "plug in" to human sensitivity.

Iconic machine made pieces of industrial design that seem to wander far from the tents of the "delight" I like to experience when I look at architecture.

Lets hope there are other designers emplyed by China and Japan that will eschew the BIG statements and square angles for something a little more easy on the eye closer to human scale.
