Sympathise with part 1 students but a a creative one is particularly not owed anything it is kinda part of the whole deal. Those really in Architecture should have extra zest for life which is lots to give!!. A recession is a chance to come to terms with the immediate social environment reacquaint see anew get involved in something else so many interest groups. How many times do I have to repeat that in other countries, Italy, students do architecture as a first degree before going to do many other quite diverse studies even if they do remain in the family next until aged 40! Such is the devotion.
