It is a cultural shock to an American to see a modern house sitting in an old cemetery! What exactly are residents supposed to feel and think as they look at the view! Who would wish to Live with that! Any American who chose to build a house in a cemetery would at least choose a different style fitting to the place such as perhaps a house of seven gables or maybe something with a pit and pendulum. Maybe a house painted orange and black like Halloween.
