Traders fight market move plans
Traders are threatening legal action against plans to move them under a proposal (right) designed by Robin Partington Associates to redevelop Shepherd’s Bush Market in west London.
Developer Orion Shepherd’s Bush has already altered the plans once to reprieve a historic pie and mash shop. It hopes to submit a planning application this summer.
The plans include a seven-storey block of 250 flats, a new street and an underground car park. The market would be widened with the railway arches refurbished, pathways and lighting improved and public spaces created.
