Scheme features 206 new homes and a nursery

Stock Woolstencroft has been given the go-ahead for a new mixed-use development in Poplar, London.

The scheme features 206 new homes and a 129 sq m nursery on a brownfield site next to Langdon Park DLR station.

Plans also include a basement car park and garden spaces. The new homes will be a mixture of three to four bedroom units and individual maisonettes for larger families.

Stock Woolstencroft said: “The redevelopment of this Carmen Street site represents a significant opportunity to bring about much needed regeneration to Poplar. The site’s key position - adjacent to the DLR station and the bridge link to Langdon Park – will ensure that the new mixed use development will benefit the wider areas to the east of the DLR line.”

  • My God look at those horrible houses on the left. Who would want to live in one of those?
