Stand in London pavilion will be redesigned

The RIBA London region is calling on architects to book a place on its stand in the London pavilion at Mipim 2014.

The RIBA’s stand has been redesigned for the annual property bash in Cannes, which will run from March 11-14.

Owen Wainhouse, RIBA London interim director, said: “Mipim has long been the ‘must attend’ event of the property industry.  It’s an unrivalled opportunity to network at the highest level.  Above all it’s a chance to get your practice noticed.”

“This year we’re able to offer more opportunities for both larger and smaller practices.”

Practices that are interested in participating in the RIBA stand should contact the RIBA London office tom.symonds@riba.org or phone 0207 307 5352

'Get your practice noticed' and then some....given it's the architectural equivalent of a meat market.
An interesting idea would be to include a few enterprising architecture students to showcase their work. It would be great to see the RIBA advocating for the next generation of architects in this way.

  • "MIPIM offers a wide range of opportunities in 10+ exhibition halls. Stand prices range from 769€ /m² to 1,018€ /m². "

I wonder how much RIBA is paying? No wonder they want people to attend ! I bet Harry Rich will be there - all expenses paid, 5 star hotel, everything !
