The project refurbishes a 1960s Architects Co-Partnership building

Conran has been given planning permission to transform a 1960s former school into new housing in Lambeth, London.

The existing building on Lollard Street was designed in 1960 by Architects Co-Partnership. Some of the school buildings were listed in 2002.

Conran won an open competition held by Henley Homes to transform the former Lilian Baylis School using a mix of refurbishment and new build.

The £26 million scheme creates nearly 150 homes, 40% of which will be affordable.
