What does the Olympic legacy look like?
The Games may be over, but the construction work certainly isn’t
The London Legacy Development Corporation has debuted a video fly through of the legacy plan for the Olympic Park — renamed the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park — with the now very familiar sports facilities standing alongside 8,000 new homes.
The park will be split into five “neighbourhoods”, with 12 new schools and nurseries, three health centres and a new library.
A new commercial district will be built in the north west of the site, near Hackney Wick, centred around the media centre which is being adapted by GMW Architects.
